[Gallery] of Brewicide XII: FLITCRAFT ‘Transmission Echo’ LP Launch @ Bergy Bandroom, Melb (AU) 29.11.25.
Welcome to the 12th addition to the Gallery of Brewicide - a series where we showcase additional materials from the photographers who work hard to bring reviews and other music-press media to life!
To break things up from just a static wall of images per band, below you’ll find a mix of static and gallery (swipe/click-able) style image blocks.
Speaking of mixing it up - for a first where Inner-Strength Check is concerned, our lens-snapping affiliate Richie Black Photography has also graciously opted to include some written work as well!
Not just a snappy-chap after all!
Big thanks to Richie, Bergy Bandroom staff, headliners Flitcraft & supports Aardvark and Cult of The Night for helping facilitate our gallery/review. Also included throughout are artist/label links for further perusal, jamming out and acquisition of tunes, merch etc.
Support the industry - support your local scene!

This article was brought to you with the stimulating assistance of Caffeine (Praised-Be) and the severely underrated, brutal metallic hardcore of Burnt By The Sun - check out The Perfect Is The Enemy of The Good (my fave BBTS LP!) via this link.

This weekend’s gig was an afternoon show at The Bergy Bandroom in Brunswick.
Welcome to the Matinee of Madness, with Flitcraft launching their new album Transmission Echo.
Also on the bill were Aardvark, and Cult of the Night. It was a good turnout for a Saturday afternoon.
This is not a review - just a few words about a Saturday afternoon of metal, with pictures.
First up was Cult of the Night, who play your classic 80’s black/speed metal. They do this very well; go see them next time they play!
Next up were Aardvark, who also play classic heavy metal (think NWOTHM). Also very awesome.
Finally, Flitcraft headlined with their brand of progressive rock/metal epic-ness…is that even a word?
Well if it wasn’t, it is now… and it’s the only word that best describes their sound.
This wasn’t the first time that I’ve been to gigs for these bands, and it won’t be the last.
If you’ve not already listened to any of these bands, nor been to their shows - maybe it’s time you did?
Cheers,
Richie.
