Orga Mecha (US) - Debut Album Humanity.exe Coming in June

Los Angeles (CA) - ORGA MECHA, a Southern California band that melds traditional heavy metal with electronic textures and futuristic, sci-fi driven themes, will release its full-length debut album, Humanity.exe, in June!

A music video for the first single "Idols and Gods" is available at:

The music of ORGA MECHA weaves 1980s sounds in the vein of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Dio with synths, glitchy vocal effects and electronic drums heard among artists such as Dance With the Dead and Muse. ORGA MECHA is composed of Melissa Pinion (vocals/keyboards; also of STYGIAN CROWN), Raoul Rañoa (lead guitar), Rob D (bass), and Richie “Captain Black” Brooks (drums; also of NINTH CIRCLE).

Named in homage to the 2001 Stephen Spielberg classic “Artificial Intelligence,” ORGA MECHA's robust debut full-length album aims to reach both longtime classic fans, as well as metalheads looking to explore unchartered terrain.

“It’s all about classic metal, sci-fi and keytars. We’re excited to finally unleash this project and our music!” - Orga Mecha

Humanity.exe will be released June 26 on digital and CD (U.S. only) formats.

The band dove into recording Cursum Perficio in earnest during 2022, working out of Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles. They carefully pieced together what would be this magnum opus, mining their history with reverence, delivering on fan expectations tenfold, and broadening the scope of their signature sound. Produced by Jay Ruston and Anthrax, the result is an album that’s as angry, aggressive, and alive as their most celebrated fare.

“It was quite a journey from the inception of this album to its completion,” Ian says. "We were supposed to make this in 2020, but the universe had other plans for everyone. After the Pandemic, we got to be a band again. When we started working on the record, we were just happy to be in a room together. It was so exciting that it was like being reborn in a way. All of that energy and emotion went into the music. The fear of being forced out of our lives and the joy of coming back together are present. The title ‘Cursum Perficio’ feels like ANTHRAX. It resembled what we went through to get to the point of finishing the record.”

“There was an awful lot of growth between Worship Music in 2011 and CURSUM PERFICIO,”Benante elaborated. “This album is a culmination of everything we’ve learned. I was watching a Marilyn Monroe documentary, and I saw ‘Cursum Perficio’ written on a tile in her last home. When I found out what the phrase meant, it immediately clicked with me. We aren’t saying this is our last record, but our journey has come to an end. I believe we’ve completed the task.”

“We had to make Fistful Of Metal and Spreading The Disease to be able to write Among The Living,”Ian goes on. “In the same respect, it took Worship Music and For All Kings for us to be able to write CURSUM PERFICIO. I very much compare this record to Among The Living.”

“We left it all on the table,” agreed Bello. “We really know who we are as ANTHRAX, what turns us on, and what we need to do. I don’t think anybody knows what’s next, but we’re hungrier than ever. From here on out, we’re going to go full throttle for every fucking minute.”

“A friend of mine said, ‘It’s For The Kids’is a straight-up love letter to your fans,’” Ian says. “That’s exactly what I wanted it to be. The album needed a four-minute thrash song that harkened back to our first era. Whether it’s the aggression or the big chorus, it represents all the best parts of ANTHRAX in a very angry four-minute package. For the video, we wanted to throw back to our ‘Madhouse’ video--thematically it just made sense and this idea opened the door for us to share the experience with our fans. For all of us!”

“The video for ‘It’s For the Kids’ turned out really well,” Benante says. “I don’t necessarily like doing videos and this one had elements of things that I really love. There were fans in it, they showed up, they enjoyed it, it made me enjoy the video just seeing them enjoy it. Hearing the song for the first time, their reaction to it, and just the interaction with them was just great. I think the director did a great job on it. It’s kind of a throwback to our first ever video, ‘Madhouse.’ So I think fans are gonna see it and think ‘oh look at that, I see what they did.’  But yeah, great song and a great video. ‘It’s For the Kids’ is one of the songs that I felt was so strong, and the riff behind it and the rhythm behind it was almost like a tug of war, it’s like a push pull. It has this tension to it where the drums are just playing at a high pace speed, and the guitars are doing pretty much quarter notes with it. And the drums are just going full speed ahead. One of my favourite songs on the record and one of my favourite riffs. I really think this song is a gift to ANTHRAX fans who have been with us throughout the years. This basically is ANTHRAX at its best. Fast paced, thrashing, melodic fucking metal.”

“When I hear certain tracks, I immediately go, ‘I want to do this song. It might have a shot,” Belladonna notes. “Even the first time I started singing a tune like ‘Madhouse,’ I figured it was going to be a strong one. You just know. There’s a lot of variety to each of our records. To me, ‘It’s For The Kids’ is nice, straight-up ANTHRAX. It has a lot of fire and a punch to it. Vocally, it’s really cooking. It was definitely fun to hammer down on this one and put a lot of drive into it.”

Donais adds, “‘It’s For The Kids’ is a right to the point thrasher. It’s fast, aggressive, catchy and definitely going to be a fun one live. I love the ‘madhouse’ inspired throwback vibe of this video. Involving the fans and capturing their reactions to a new song adds some energy that really stands out.”

“I’m psyched for people to hear ‘It’s For The Kids!’"Bello comments. “This is a heavy, driving song with a big hook chorus-a combination of classic ANTHRAX and current- I can’t wait to play it live! Had a (cold!) blast filming the video too. It’s a great, energy packed video with a bunch of amazing ANTHRAX fans having a good time on a freezing day in Pennsylvania. The metal kept us all warm.”

Their journey has brought them to Cursum Perficio - a powerful, pummelling, and poetic milestone in Anthrax’s 45-year career.

The CURSUM PERFICIO track listing is as follows:

01. Persistence of Memory
02. The Long Goodbye
03. It’s For the Kids

ANTIMOZDEBEAST (US) - The Vagrant Unkempt Grave

The Vagrant Unkempt Grave emerges as the newest and most immersive chapter in the relentless evolution of ANTIMOZDEBEAST, a record that drags the listener through ritual industrial atmosphere, electronic abrasion, and blackened spiritual discord. Across its fifty-five minutes, the album constructs a devastated kingdom of conscience and corruption, where existential architecture collapses beneath the weight of prophecy, memory, and the decay of creation. Opening with the fourteen-minute descent of “Solitude,” the album immediately plunges into a world governed by ancient anagrams, desolate thrones, and the spiritual aftermath of humanity’s self-inflicted wounds. Voices rise and fall like spectral liturgies as the track spirals through themes of repentance, decay, and the hollowing of faith, establishing the album’s tone as apocalyptic, meditative, and suffocating in its scope.

The journey continues with “The Temple of Vindication,” a philosophical unraveling that examines truth, guilt, and the psychological theater of human existence. The song crawls through inner rebellion and spiritual interrogation, drawing lines between salvation, illusion, and the mind’s desperate attempts to interpret its suffering. ANTIMOZDEBEAST twists industrial cadence with poetic lamentation, framing each question as both a confession and an indictment.

“Torn Mentality” brings a fevered surge of rhythmic tension and lyrical confrontation, narrating the collapse of certainty beneath political deceit, religious manipulation, and emotional betrayal. Its recurring invocations “Paradise,” “Treachery,” “Blasphemy,” and “Religion” strike like ritual mantras, forcing the listener into a confrontation with the structures that bind and blind society. The track’s spiraling descent into philosophical dread mirrors the overarching narrative of the album, the soul as a battlefield between inherited myth and awakened consciousness.

After the brief instrumental reflection of “Interlude,” the record advances into “Corridor of Admiration,” where ANTIMOZDEBEAST intensifies his signature blend of industrial ritualism and blackened electronic immersion. Here, prophecy and memory intertwine as the “white midnight messenger” rides through the desolate kingdom of humanity’s making. The track opens a metaphysical dialogue on redemption, decay, and the painful illumination that accompanies spiritual awakening, all framed in the project’s fusion of serrated electronics and liturgical poetics.

“Conversion,” though instrumental, acts as a breathing chamber within the album’s oppressive atmosphere, a place where the listener is engulfed not by narrative but by the textures of ascension and disintegration. This moment of wordless reflection deepens the descent into the finale, “Conclave,” a culmination of the album’s philosophical and emotional weight. Here, ANTIMOZDEBEAST contemplates innocence, fire, youth, and spiritual concession, weaving the delirium of the mind with the maladies of the world. The track spirals through themes of collapse, longing, and transcendence, closing the album with a sense of unresolved yearning, a soul clawing at revelation while still tethered to earthly decay.

The Vagrant Unkempt Grave stands as one of ANTIMOZDEBEAST’s most expansive and harrowing works to date, a synthesis of industrial extremity, blackened atmosphere, and existential poetry. Rather than offering answers, the album immerses the listener in the questions that haunt its creation: What is truth? What is salvation? What remains of humanity when its myths decay? Through these seven compositions, ANTIMOZDEBEAST shapes not merely a record but an excavation of the spirit, a vagrant empire wandering the borders of consciousness, faith, and oblivion, restless, unkempt, and undeniably alive.

About ATIMOZDEBEAST:

ANTIMOZDEBEAST is the extreme industrial and electronic black metal project of American composer and multi instrumentalist Gabriel Palacio, an artist whose life and work are shaped by equal parts suffering, persistence, and spiritual inquiry. Born in Queens, New York in 1985 with congenital heart disease, Gabriel underwent his first open heart surgery at age three and spent his childhood navigating both medical fragility and the intense religious expectations of a massive family rooted in Catholic tradition. His mother, once bound for a life as a nun, left the convent path to immigrate to the United States, where she raised Gabriel and his brother within a home steeped in devotion, ritual, and the tension between faith and individuality. By age fifteen Gabriel had already committed himself to music, turning to instruments not only as creative outlets but as anchors in a life marked by psychological struggle and the early onset of mental health challenges that continued into adulthood.

In 2015, months before his second open heart surgery, Gabriel’s brother passed away in an accidental death. The loss altered the course of his life and transformed his artistic direction, sharpening his awareness of mortality, grief, and the fragile architecture of the human mind. ANTIMOZDEBEAST was born in 2019 as a direct response to this period of collapse and reinvention, a vehicle through which Gabriel could confront the corruption he perceived within religion, politics, and society while exploring the boundaries between divine and profane, creation and decay, salvation and despair. With each release he shapes a world that reflects his own spiritual reinterpretation of God, good and evil, and the afterlife, drawing from the extremity of black metal, the mechanical violence of industrial music, and the atmospheric tension of electronic composition.

Every ANTIMOZDEBEAST recording is entirely written, performed, produced, mixed, mastered, and visually conceptualized by Gabriel. The project’s extensive discography, which includes works such as ICRI, The Political Beast, The Beast of War, And the Antichrist, The Red River, Crepuscular, AntiMozdeBeast II, The Ritual, Mother Earth, Vision, Land of Nod, Lake of Fire, Vision II, Roman Catholic Prison System, The Alien Machine, and Dogs of Deity, documents a constant evolution in both sonic density and philosophical depth. Even as the catalog expands at a prolific pace, each album serves a unified purpose. ANTIMOZDEBEAST creates art that exposes spiritual and societal deception while encouraging the listener to confront the ideas and beliefs that shape their perception of truth.

With The Vagrant Unkempt Grave, Gabriel enters a new stage of refinement and emotional force. The album expands his industrial black metal fusion into a sweeping narrative about the vagrant soul, the decay of creation, and the awakening of consciousness within a world torn apart by myth and manipulation. ANTIMOZDEBEAST continues to stand as a singular and uncompromising presence within the extreme music landscape, a project born from tragedy, shaped by resilience, and driven by an unbreakable devotion to art as revelation.

AETERE (Fra): Theogonie To Release on June 5th, Via Argonauta Records/Octopus Rising:

Band: Aetere
Album: Theogonie
Release Date: June 5th, 2026
Country: France
Label: Octopus Rising
Genre: Doom Metal

Aetere: A Sonic Odyssey Through Shadows and Symbolism

Aetere is a French doom-metal duo formed in Bordeaux in 2017, crafting slow-burning, ritualistic compositions steeped in myth. Guided by melancholy and introspection, the project stands at the crossroads of ancient narratives and contemporary sonic experimentation.

On guitar, bass, and vocals, Alice Ronzini brings a background forged in France’s garage-punk underground (La Secte du Futur, JC Satan), later expanded into more ethereal territories through her spectral folk solo project Ailise Blake. Alongside her, Johan Sebenne shapes Aetere’s immersive sound through synths, bass, and machines, layering droney riffs and textured atmospheres informed by his work with the acclaimed post-metal ensemble Year of No Light, his ambient electro-acoustic solo project Lacustre, and earlier collaborations with Nexus Sun, Acid Bonanga, and Géographie.

The project took shape in Bordeaux, where the duo composed and recorded the six tracks that would become their debut album, Théogonie. Johan relocated to Paris and initiated the mixing process just as the global lockdown unfolded. Meanwhile, Alice moved to the rural landscapes of La Drôme, placing the project into a quiet, suspended state. When they reunited after the lockdown, Aetere awakened again: the two resumed work on the album, with Alice completing the final mix in her newly built Studio 418.
The result is a masterful exploration of doom metal's heavier edges, softened by shoegaze haze and post-punk grit.

Musically, Aetere draws inspiration from luminaries like Warning, Joy Division, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Earth, merging funeral tempos, shoegaze haze and monolithic riffs.
Alice's lyrics, steeped in literary grandeur, evoke the visionary poetry of William Blake's Auguries of Innocence, the epic turmoil of John Milton's Paradise Lost (Book 1), and the mythic narratives of Dante Alighieri, Ovid, and Homer. Themes of innocence, mortality, and transcendence pulse through the album, inviting profound reflection.

Théogonie features artwork by Mal De Siglos and layout design by Lucia Macip, perfectly encapsulating the band's ethereal aesthetic.

Mastered by the legendary Dirk Serries (known for his work in Vidna Obmana, Fear Falls Burning, and Yodok III), the album achieves a polished yet primal resonance.

Released via Italy's Argonauta Records—a powerhouse in stoner, doom, and sludge—the record marks Aetere's triumphant entry into the global heavy music sphere.
