Iconic U.S. rock band, High on Fire, released their newest LP, Cometh the Storm, on April 19 ‘24 via MNRK Heavy. I was fortunate to be able to interview both Matt Pike and Coady Willis of the band! We discuss Coady's arrival into the band, the songwriting, band dynamics as a power-trio and of course both international touring and the recording process.

Our first NEW album review for the new website! (RIP old site). I could very easily label this as my punk, hardcore or noise-rock AOTY for 202 - if it were any of these things in isolation, or even together. Norway’s Daufodt released this stellar, catchy and raw skilful cacophony in September 2024 via Fysisk Format. Glitter is glamorous, but only via the sticky, raw, neon shades of decidedly-Nordic punk. Cleveland Ohio’s Ringworm are no strangers to this concept and have been fascinating metalheads with their unorthodox melodies for over 30 years.
