THE AMENTA (AU) To Perform OCCASUS in full on upcoming ULCERATE tour
Over 20 years ago, THE AMENTA released their debut album, Occasus. An unrelenting hybrid of the darkest death metal, black metal grandeur, and sickly electronic interjections, Occasus was marshalled by the unhinged bestial roar of Mark “Cesium 137” Bevan. The synthesis of futureshock dissonance and industrial sheen with such a scorched-earth voice was a truly unique sound in 2004, never repeated, never equalled. Bevan and THE AMENTA went their separate ways after this album, and explored other, different sounds.
Now, Bevan returns to front THE AMENTA once more.
Joining him in the band is Matt Wilcock (AKERCOCKE, THE BERZERKER, WEREWOLVES, ABRAMELIN) on second guitar. In 2026, THE AMENTA will bring the crushing filth of Occasus back once more to Australian stages, playing the album in full in support of the devastating ULCERATE.
Those who saw this lineup the first time, will remember the savagery, fury and plain fucking eeriness of this era of the band. Be prepared to have your face sandblasted.

VADER Tour Is Rescheduled, But the Metal Plays On: Local Acts Unite for Our Venues
Due to the rescheduling of the VADER tour, Hardline Media has put together a night of Aussie Metal to fill these nights at the venues. When things like this happen, it leaves the venues empty, it affects people's jobs and causes big losses for the venues. So in solidarity for the venues, the workers and our friends, let's still go out and enjoy the night, grab a bight to eat and have some drinks.
Tickets are only $10, if you already have a VADER ticket, then tickets are only $6. All Vader ticket holders, we will send you a special discount code to use to unlock your discount. We will also have Vader ticket giveaways on the night amongst other goodies.
Get down to the venue, support local businesses and local music. See you there!

STATEMENT FROM VADER: "Dear fans of Australia, Vader have had to make the difficult decision to reschedule our Australian Tour dates due to the conflict in the Middle East. We cannot risk the flights being cancelled and everyone losing out. We have worked out with our Australian promoter Hardline Media, on some new dates in late November. Please hold onto your tickets; your current ticket/s transfer directly to the rescheduled dates. We will see you in November, we cannot wait to return!”
