Celebrated as one of the most electrifying live acts in the world, Swedish sensations The Hives will kick off their upcoming world tour in Australia this July.
Their latest single is titled Paint A Picture with its quick- paced, riff-heavy and unmistakeably Hives sound and radio friendly play length.
Paint A Picture is the second single from their upcoming album, with the first single Enough Is Enough evidently popular with streaming listeners.
It's great to see The Hives back triumphantly in 2025 with a bang and nostalgically still themselves with their up- tempo, catchy singalong tunes .My favourite Hives era was around the time of Walk Idiot Walk from their 2004/5 album 'Tyrannosaurus Hives', and of course, who can forget the iconic Hate To Say I told You So from another of their humbly titled albums– 'Your New Favourite Band'.
Here at ISC, we aim to see The Hives in Melbourne at The Forum for their Saturday 19 July show or their NEW SHOW just announced at TheForum Sunday 20 July. For everyone else, their world tour starts in Fremantle on Thursday 17 July, with the mentioned two shows in Melbourne, one show at The Enmore Theatre Sydney Wednesday 23 July, then Brisbane at The Fortitude Music Hall on Thursday 24 July.
